About Guanajuato

As the capital of one of Mexico's historically wealthier states, Guanajuato is well-connected when it comes to travel. Mexico's railway network is still pretty shaky and, frankly, traveling by train takes quite a bit longer than by bus. The city boasts a busy bus station with constant routes running in and out of the city as well as easy access to the nearby international airport, located just a couple towns away.
